Mariusz Skula
MARIUSZ SKULA, violoncello, began his musical education in his native Koszalin, Poland, later graduating from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw and Yale University, where he was a graduate student of Aldo Parisot. As Principal Cellist of the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra he toured Europe, recorded many CDs, and made numerous radio and television broadcasts. Mr. Skula has participated in several music festivals including Wiener Festwochen Festival in Vienna, Austria, Richard Strauss Festival in Garmisch- Partenkirchen, International Contemporary Music Festival “Warsaw Autumn” and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. Mr. Skula is currently a member of the Bel-Etre Ensemble and the New Haven Symphony Orchestra.
