MARK ROMATZ, bassoon, is currently with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Prior to that appointment, the University of Michigan graduate was with the Jacksonville and Savannah Symphony Orchestras, the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra and the Flint Symphony Orchestra. He has been a member of the Bellingham, Grand Teton, Grant Park, Colorado, Spoleto, Lancaster, and Sunflower Festivals. Mr. Romatz has been a faculty member at the University of Florida, St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He joined the faculty at McGill University in Montreal in the fall of 2006. He has played with the Minnesota Orchestra and has performed with the Chicago, Detroit and Denver Symphony Orchestras, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Naples Philharmonic.
